Volunteering
Volunteering with the CFS and your local Brigade is a way to be connected closer to you community. Not only do you feel fulfilled by helping others in need you are also appreciated​ and respected by your community. You are part of a much large organisation who ensure your have the correct equipment, backup and training to succeed in your tasks. 
With large or longer incidents there are many others who have your back right across the state so they can come and assist your team or you may assist them when needed. You will work with may like minded people over your time with the CFS.
